Since end of November 2011 the five nation EUROCORPS is connected with NATO at NATO SECRET level, thanks to a team effort from NC3A. EUROCORPS is deploying to ISAF as of January 2012 and depends on this link for reach-back to their Strasbourg HQ.
The special Infiornation Exchange Gateway was designed and implemented by a cross-Agency team with very close cooperation with the NATO CIS Services Agency and the EUROCORPS team on the installation and hand over.
EUROCORPS is sponsored by the five nations: France, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Luxembourg.
The EUROCORPS was accepted by NAC (SG2003/0562 from 7th May 2003) and SHAPE special agreement from 21st May 2003 as a NATO High Readiness Forces HQ for NATO led operations.
